There is never truly a “one-size-fits-all” diet or lifestyle out there for everyone. We have implemented a foundational guide based on the founding fathers of nutrition (Dr. Royal Lee, Dr. Melvin Page, Dr. Weston A. Price, Dr. Francis Pottenger, and others) as well as other exponential influences in the holistic and integrative nutrition world.
We begin with Dr. Melvin Page’s Food Plan and move into customized food and pantry lists, as well as sample menu plans with corresponding recipes based on your experience, knowledge, and progress with us here at Holistic Wellness Alternatives.

Eat With Mindfulness
Remember, to be truly successful, the systems of the body need to be functioning properly. If you are unable to digest and assimilate the nutrients contained in whole foods, you lose the benefits of healthy eating. This is why we always begin with supporting the digestive system and the gut microbiome. We always remind our clients digestion is a “top-down” process. It’s important to eat in a calm, relaxed atmosphere for optimal digestion. Chew food thoroughly and completely before swallowing. Select foods of many colors and varieties prepared properly to retain vital nutrients. We will review and explain more in depth the importance of these items, and many more during our sessions together. Over time, you will not only transform your eating habits into a healthier lifestyle, but also those of your family and friends.
